A history of product
improvements leading
to growing popularity.
1999: The non-profit organization, Volunteers in Health Care (VIH), with grants from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, launches “RxAssist.org”, a free website providing up to date PAP applications on request.
2001: Systemetrics, Inc. is hired by VIH to take RxAssist to the next generation. The first “packaged” version is introduced for installation on the user’s computer. It allows the user to download applications with all the information filled in.
2005-2006: Systemetrics, at the request of VIH, takes over ownership of RxAssist Plus and begins to operate it as a business unit of the company. Systemetrics makes the decision to convert the product from being workstation based to being web based. The new WebFast version of RxAssist Plus is born.
Today: Systemetrics continues to enhance RxAssist Plus. Almost 400 organizations and literally thousands of hands-on users continue to give RxAssist Plus the highest marks for speed, reliability, and ease of use.
